I’ve had a few emails about people wanting Windows Media Player 10 for their Smartphone. You’ll be aware that the Audiovox SMT 5600 has it, but many other handsets don’t. Well, according to MS themselves you CANNOT download it. However, there’s a beam of light at the end of the tunnel, as this Microsoft page explains…
“Note: Windows Media Player 10 Mobile is not available for download from Microsoft, but several devices will offer upgrades.“
So hopefully your provider (Orange etc) will make this available in the “Downloads” section of your phone soon!
(By the way, this Microsoft page has some incorrect info about the Audiovox SMT 5600 / SPV C500 camera – it’s NOT 1.3 Megapixel!
