Confusing tariffs

Confusing tariffs Analyst house Quocirca recently looked into the confusing world of tariffs. It appears that, although voice tariffs are pretty simple to understand – the advent of mobile data tariffs, MMS, GPRS, WAP and SMS “bundles” is confusing the hell out of Joe Public.

The differences and charges for “price per minute connected” or “price per megabyte of data transferred” and additional costs for using services on TOP of those services (for example, one charge for GPRS, another charge for downloading a ringtone) is making mobile data a worry for non-business customers.
